Morocco and Germany Co-Hosting Military Exercise Arcane Thunder 24
From August 5th to 16th, Morocco and Germany are teaming up to host the multinational military exercise, Arcane Thunder 24. This exercise, involving approximately 200 U.S. Soldiers and 100 Allied and partner forces, aims to refine electromagnetic warfare capabilities through precision and synchronization.
Lead by the 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force, Arcane Thunder 24 will focus on coordinating the employment of non-lethal effects across all domains to ensure an advantage against potential adversaries. This exercise emphasizes strengthening strategic relationships and enhancing the ability of partner forces to synchronize capabilities.
Col. Patrick Moffett, the commander of the 2nd Multi-Domain Task Force, highlighted the importance of these military exercises in strengthening cooperation and showcasing the partnership between the U.S. and Morocco. Arcane Thunder 24, now in its second iteration, will be conducted in Morocco for the first time, underlining a commitment to the nation’s security.
