A recent travel warning issued by the Israeli government has classified Azerbaijan as a “potential threat” for its citizens. In contrast, Armenia has been deemed as “No Travel Threat” in the same advisory.
The Israeli National Security Council has urged its citizens to exercise caution while traveling abroad due to escalating tensions with Iran following the recent assassinations of HAMAS political leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah’s strategic unit head Fuad Shukr.
The NSC advised travelers to reconsider trips to countries with moderate to high threat levels and to practice increased precaution in all other destinations. They also recommended adhering to the detailed recommendations on the NSC’s website.
With Azerbaijan marked as a potential threat, travelers are urged to stay vigilant and stay updated on any further developments in the region. As tensions continue to rise, it is essential for travelers to prioritize their safety and well-being while abroad.
