Avigdor Liberman, the leader of Yisrael Beytenu, made it clear on Friday that he would not be joining the coalition government. However, he stated that he would support any military operation that the government undertakes.
In a tweet, Liberman criticized the government for not forming a unity government and urged them to halt controversial legislation during times of conflict. He called for a unity Zionist government to ensure stability and security.
If he were the prime minister, Liberman said he would freeze any contentious laws, bring together leaders of Zionist parties for security updates, and consult with former prime ministers and defense ministers for guidance.
