Iran’s top military commander vows that Israel will regret the assassination of Hamas leader, Ismail Haniyeh.
Major General Baqeri made the statement during a funeral procession in Tehran for the late Hamas leader who was killed in the Iranian capital. Ayatollah Khamenei has promised a harsh response to the assassination.
The Iranian Army chief emphasized that Israel’s crime will not go unanswered and the resistance front will retaliate accordingly. Haniyeh was hailed as a significant leader of the resistance, and his martyrdom is seen as a great loss.
