The Truth About UFOs: A Closer Look at the Pentagon’s Report
Earlier this year, following extensive congressional hearings on UFOs, the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) released a 63-page report summarizing almost 80 years of evidence. However, their conclusion, given the office’s name, was not surprising – there is not much to see here, they urged everyone to move on.
The Senate Intelligence Committee disagrees with the Pentagon’s findings. The Intelligence Authorization Act, recently passed by the committee, calls for a review of the AARO and limits research into UAPs (unidentified anomalous phenomena) unless approved by Congress. Whistleblower protections are also being added for individuals who wish to share their experiences.
One individual, David Grusch, has been pushing less plausible claims about UAPs, including hidden alien bodies and secret conspiracies. These claims, which lack corroboration from primary witnesses, have stirred controversy and made concerns about UAPs seem more frivolous.
