The National Orientation Agency (NOA) is calling on Nigerians, especially the youth, to reconsider participating in the proposed nationwide protest. Mr. Abubakar Argungu, Head of the Public Relations Unit in Kaduna State, highlighted the importance of expressing dissatisfaction within the confines of the law.
While acknowledging the constitutional right to protest, Argungu emphasized the need for peaceful and lawful means of voicing concerns. He stressed that the current administration is dedicated to national development, urging dialogue over chaos.
Despite challenges, such as recent policy implementations affecting citizens, efforts like rice distribution and minimum wage adjustments show the government’s commitment to alleviating hardships. Argungu encouraged patience, assuring the public that these difficulties are temporary.
As Nigeria navigates through socio-economic issues, the NOA advocates for peaceful dialogue and trust in the government’s intentions. Let us work together towards a better tomorrow, devoid of disruption and unrest.
