Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman, Dmitry Medvedev, believes that a full-scale war may be necessary for peace in the Middle East.
Medvedev expressed his views on the escalating tensions in a post on social media, blaming the United States for the situation and advocating for a war to achieve a fragile peace.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also condemned the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of Hamas, in an Israeli airstrike in Tehran, calling for restraint to avoid further destabilization.
Meanwhile, ongoing genocide by Israel in Gaza has led to thousands of casualties and a humanitarian crisis, with international organizations expressing concern over the impact on civilians.
