Iran Condemns Assassination of Hamas Leader in Tehran
The Foreign Ministry vehemently condemns the Israeli regime’s assassination of Hamas’ Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
Spokesman Nasser Kan’ani criticized the attack on Twitter, calling it an act of “state and organized terrorism.” Haniyeh was killed alongside a bodyguard in Tehran for attending an inaugural ceremony.
Kan’ani warned that the Israeli regime poses a threat to international security and peace, disregarding international laws. Silence from the international community would encourage further acts of terrorism.
Iran issued a statement denouncing the attack as a display of the “criminal mafia” ruling occupied Palestine. Ayatollah Khamenei vowed a “harsh response” to avenge the resistance leader’s blood.
