Award-winning consumer journalist Wendy Knowler is set to join the News24 Business team in August, bringing with her more than three decades of experience in exposing scams and injustices.
Known for her radio presenting and former column in the Sunday Times, Knowler has made a name for herself as a champion for South African consumers. She is passionate about helping and guiding consumers, finding it incredibly rewarding.
Throughout her career, Knowler has tackled various issues such as rejected insurance claims, fraudulent car deals, and defective products. She believes that consumer journalism is important as it affects people from all walks of life.
She warns consumers about scams in the digital world and advises them to be cautious before sharing any personal information online. Knowler is excited to engage with the News24 audience and is eager to investigate stories that impact consumers.
