The Borno State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew following a devastating bomb explosion at Kawori Market in Konduga, resulting in 16 fatalities and numerous injuries. The incident, believed to be orchestrated by a Boko Haram suicide bomber, has necessitated this immediate response.
In a press release by Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, Governor Babagana Zulum consulted with security officials before enacting this measure. The objective of the curfew is to restore law and order and ensure public safety in the state.
