Iran and other members of the Axis of Resistance have vowed to retaliate for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
Haniyeh and a bodyguard were killed in an attack at their residence in Tehran, with Iran threatening to respond decisively.
Iran – ‘Heavy Price’
Iran warned of retaliation and urged the UN Security Council to take action against Israel for the attack.
Haniyeh’s assassination has sparked outrage, with leaders like Iranian parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf condemning the act and warning Israel of consequences.
Ansarallah – ‘Will Spare No Effort’
Yemeni group Ansarallah also condemned the attack, promising to avenge the martyr and all who suffered injustice at the hands of Israel.
Tensions between Ansarallah and Israel have escalated, with recent attacks on both sides leading to increased hostilities.
