Ukraine’s Navy conducted a successful attack on a weapons storage facility near Kursk, Russia. The operation, in collaboration with other Defense Forces, targeted a warehouse for storing military equipment. The General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported enemy air defense and explosions observed at aiming points.
The Russian Defense Ministry claimed to have downed one Neptune missile. Neptune is Ukraine’s anti-ship rocket with a range of 300 kilometers, previously used to sink Russia’s Black Sea flagship.
Acting governor Alexei Smirnov reported a fire at an unnamed facility in Kursk Oblast. Ukrainian air defense also downed 89 Russian drones in a mass attack, as reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
