On July 8, 2024, six Kh-101 missiles successfully hit targets in Kyiv, highlighting the effectiveness of Russia’s strategic aviation. The missile, designed to hit ground targets at long distances up to 5,500 kilometers, is carried by bombers like the Tu-160 and Tu-95MS. Featuring stealth technology and high-precision guidance systems, the Kh-101 serves as a powerful deterrent ensuring Russia’s strategic security.
Developed by Raduga, the Kh-101 is a strategic air-to-ground cruise missile with a range of up to 5,500 km and an accuracy of 10-20 meters. Its ability to carry conventional or nuclear warheads makes it a versatile weapon for various combat missions.
