Amidst the absence of 10 chief ministers, the NITI Aayog meeting saw a dramatic exit by Mamata Banerjee, the only Opposition leader present, who claimed her mic was muted and felt insulted. The CEO’s arrogant remarks further highlighted the growing tensions between the government and the Opposition. The blame game that ensued only serves to fuel divisive conversations and hinder progress.
It is imperative for the government to bridge this growing divide, build trust, and establish credibility with the Opposition to effectively serve the people. The NITI Aayog meeting should have been a platform for constructive dialogue and collaboration, not a stage for political theatrics and power play.
It is high time for all parties to set aside their differences and focus on the welfare of the nation. Only through unity and cooperation can we overcome challenges and work towards a brighter future for all.
