Government Slashes Prices of Petrol and Diesel
The government of Pakistan has announced a significant reduction in the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next fifteen days. The Ministry of Finance confirmed a decrease of Rs6.17 per liter for petrol and Rs10.86 per liter for diesel, bringing the new prices to Rs269.43 and Rs272.77 per liter, respectively.
In addition to this, the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil have also seen a reduction of Rs6.32 and Rs5.72 per liter, making it a good news for consumers across the country. These adjustments were made based on the fluctuating international market prices and exchange rate variations.
Previously, the prices had witnessed a continuous increase in the past two fortnights. This recent reduction will provide relief to the general public and is a welcomed decision by the Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Stay updated for more updates on fuel prices in Pakistan.
