BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 31. “AzInTelecom” LLC, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, is on its way to transforming the digital landscape of Azerbaijan with the construction of two cutting-edge data centers. These data centers have been awarded the prestigious “TIER 3 Design” certificate, setting new international standards for stability and reliability in data exchange.
The certification, issued by the Uptime Institute in the USA, is a global benchmark for ensuring dependable data services. As the first institution in the South Caucasus region to receive the “TIER 3” certification, “AzInTelecom” LLC is paving the way for enhanced digital infrastructure in Azerbaijan. With the migration of 115 government agencies to their existing data centers in Baku and Yevlakh, the need for expansion has become imminent.
The new data centers, to be constructed in the Absheron and Hajigabul regions, will revolutionize Azerbaijan’s digital capabilities. These centers will feature state-of-the-art infrastructure, including special reserve systems for critical operations, high-level cooling pipelines, and energy-efficient equipment. This advancement will not only improve the provision of digital public services but also reduce costs while enhancing international digitization rankings.
