Netanyahu urges anti-Iran alliance in Congress.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Congress, highlighting the threat posed by Iran and proposing the formation of an anti-Iran “Abraham Alliance.” He emphasized Iran’s expansionism in the Middle East, affecting security in the Red Sea, Africa, and Ukraine.

Netanyahu pointed out Iran’s support for terrorist groups, such as the Houthi militia, disrupting Red Sea shipping and causing economic decline in Egypt. Iran’s nuclear advancements and military partnership with Russia further jeopardize the global order.

Tehran’s recent attacks on Israel revealed its capabilities and political objectives. Iran’s alliance with Russia and China strengthens its position in international forums, challenging the US-led order.

Netanyahu’s call for the Abraham Alliance aims to counter Iran’s influence in the Middle East and protect regional interests. The alliance will help Israel and its Arab neighbors unite against the common threat posed by Iran.

The US should prioritize addressing Iran’s ambitions over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and support efforts like the Abraham Alliance to maintain security in the region.
