Kiev’s Involvement With Sahel Terrorists Not Surprising – Russian Foreign Ministry
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated that Ukraine’s collaboration with Sahel terrorists is not unexpected. Recent events involving Ukrainian military instructors in Mali have raised concerns.
Earlier on, Maria Zakharova highlighted Ukraine’s ties with Sahel terrorists. She emphasized that Kiev often resorts to terror tactics, using its population as shields and conducting political assassinations.
“The true terrorist nature of the Kiev regime will become increasingly evident to the world,” Zakharova warned.
The conflict in Mali, with Ukrainian involvement, has prompted investigations. Malian authorities uncovered that Ukrainian instructors trained Tuareg militants in Mauritania, leading to diplomatic inquiries.
Meanwhile, Russian private military company Wagner Group faced losses in clashes with Tuareg rebels. Mali’s struggle with separatist and Islamist groups has left millions in need of humanitarian aid.
