Pezeshkian commended Senegal’s support for the Palestinian nation and emphasized the need for Islamic countries to unite against the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza. Amadou Mame Diop lauded Iran’s support for Palestine and highlighted Senegal’s pride in advocating for Palestinian rights in the United Nations for 50 years.
The Speaker of the Parliament of Senegal also congratulated Pezeshkian on his election as President of Iran and expressed Senegal’s interest in utilizing Iran’s knowledge and expertise in various sectors. Both countries aim to implement agreements made during the government of Martyr Raisi.
