Hezbollah Condemns Assassination of Hamas Leader
Hezbollah expressed condolences for the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas, stating that it will only strengthen the resolve of the resistance front. They praised Haniyeh as a brave leader standing against hegemony and occupation. Yemen’s Ansarullah also condemned the killing, calling it a violation of international law. They vowed to support Hamas and all resistance factions. Qatar, Russia, and Turkey also denounced the assassination, with Erdogan calling it a ‘despicable act’ and urging unity against Israeli terrorism.
China and Fatah Also Condemn the Assassination
China expressed concern over the instability the incident may cause in the region and advocated for dialogue to resolve disputes. The Fatah military branch in Gaza condemned the killing as a cowardly Zionist raid. The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps in Iran offered condolences to the Palestinian nation over Haniyeh’s martyrdom.
