Republika TV lodged a formal complaint yesterday against the current administration for hindering legal media operations and stifling journalistic critique.
The longstanding conflict between Republika TV and Prime Minister Tusk’s party escalated as the station’s journalists were consistently ignored and barred from key events. CEO Tomasz Sakiewicz filed an official complaint with the National Broadcasting Council (KRRiT) to address this issue.

Republika TV’s complaint to the KRRiT chairman highlighted the Government Information Centre’s failure to process accreditation requests for events involving Prime Minister Tusk. The station argues that denying journalists access to important sources of information violates freedom of expression.
Republika TV’s complaint against the Government Information Centre aims to address the obstruction faced by their journalists, ensuring press laws are upheld and freedom of speech is protected. #FreedomOfThePress
