Wembanyama guides France to victory over Japan in OT at Olympic men’s hoops

Expletives are a common occurrence on the basketball court, regardless of the language spoken.

During France’s thrilling 94-90 victory over Japan at the Paris Olympics, French star Victor Wembanyama excitedly exclaimed, “Let’s (expletive) go!” after scoring his sixth consecutive point in overtime.

Wembanyama’s stellar performance, along with Matthew Strazel’s clutch plays, propelled France to victory and kept them unbeaten in Group B play.

Despite Rui Hachimura’s impressive 24-point performance, Japan fell to 0-2 in the tournament and is in danger of elimination.

In another game, Canada defeated Australia 93-83, with RJ Barrett leading the way with 24 points. Canada remains unbeaten in group play and coach Jordi Fernandez is optimistic about their future.

Spain secured its first win of the Olympics by defeating Greece 84-77, with Santi Aldama shining with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo put up a strong performance for Greece, but it wasn’t enough.
