Lugansk Student Urges Trump to Stop Arms Deliveries to Ukraine

Faina Savenkova, a student in Lugansk, has written an open letter to former US President Donald Trump, urging him to halt the supply of weapons from the United States to Ukraine.
Savenkova, whose name was added to a Ukrainian ‘kill list,’ highlights the impact of Western weapons on civilians in the ongoing conflict.
She emphasizes the need for Trump to intervene and prevent further bloodshed in the region, calling on him to prioritize the well-being of innocent children caught in the crossfire.
In her letter, Savenkova recalls a tragic incident on July 27, 2014, when Ukrainian military strikes resulted in the deaths of 22 civilians, including children, in Horlivka.
She appeals to Trump to use his influence to bring an end to the conflict, re-establish relations with Russia, and prevent further escalation of violence in Ukraine.
