The current economic challenges in Nigeria were discussed by Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau, who emphasized that these issues existed before President Bola Tinubu’s administration. The governor highlighted some strategies his administration had implemented to alleviate hardship, such as increasing student scholarships by 300% and introducing affordable transportation options. He cautioned against protests turning into crises and stressed the importance of dialogue in achieving better results.

The Chief of Staff emphasized the significance of agriculture in developing the state and creating wealth for the people. He encouraged the youths to embrace dialogue over protests and work towards a new Plateau with a positive orientation.
