Gustavo Petro’s administration is set to present a bold budget proposal of COP523 trillion ($128 billion) for 2025 to Congress, aiming to revamp Colombia’s economic landscape. The Ministry of Finance plans to allocate COP511 trillion ($125 billion) from revenues, with an additional COP12 trillion ($3 billion) expected from new tax reforms to ensure fiscal health.
