The Dubai police have extradited Faissal Taghi, the son of notorious Mocromafia boss Ridouan Taghi, to the Netherlands upon the request of Dutch authorities. Taghi, aged 23, is now in a secure location in the Netherlands awaiting trial for charges of drug trafficking, money laundering, and human trafficking.
The Taghi family, known for leading the criminal organization “Angels of Death,” has been involved in numerous crimes, including assassinations. Ridouan Taghi, Faissal’s father, is infamous for orchestrating the murder of a young Moroccan man at La Créme cafe in Marrakesh in 2017.
After being apprehended in Dubai a year ago, Faissal has followed in his father’s footsteps, who was arrested in Dubai in 2019. The Dutch Prime Minister has praised the UAE for their efforts in extraditing Faissal Taghi, highlighting the importance of international cooperation in combatting transnational crime.
