RJD leader Sunil Kumar Singh was expelled from the Bihar Legislative Council for unruly behavior earlier this year, including raising slogans against Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on February 13.
Singh criticized the chief minister, calling him “vindictive” and accusing him of hounding out critics, even allies like Samrat Choudhary. Singh claimed the CM targeted him for questioning the government and refusing to switch sides.
Singh disputed the Ethics Committee report, refuting allegations of mimicry and disrespectful behavior in the House.
Sunil Kumar Singh, a close aide of RJD President Lalu Prasad, represents the Rajput community in Bihar. Elected in 2020, his term lasts until 2026.
Singh, with a background in social work and agriculture, holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Chemistry. He faces multiple criminal cases, including an attempted murder charge, with assets totaling over Rs 23 crores.
