Druze Leader Urges Caution Amid Israeli Provocations

Prominent Lebanese politician and leader of the Druze community in Lebanon, Walid Jumblatt, condemned Israeli actions, pointing out attempts to incite strife.

Following an explosion in Majdal Shams that killed 12 Druze Israelis, Jumblatt extended condolences and warned against Israel’s divisive tactics. He emphasized Hezbollah’s denial of involvement and the need to resist Israel’s destructive agenda.

Jumblatt affirmed readiness to counter Israeli aggression alongside resistance forces and called for an immediate end to hostilities.

Hezbollah denied involvement in the deadly Majdal Shams strike, refuting Israeli claims. The attack on the Druze Syrian village resulted in 12 civilian deaths.

Reports of injuries and difficulties intercepting missiles further underscored the tragic aftermath of the incident.
