The Women’s T20 World Cup is scheduled from October 3 to 20, ten teams will play 23 matches over 18 days at two venues in Bangladesh.
Despite ongoing political unrest, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is confident in hosting the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup as planned.
The International Cricket Council is monitoring the situation, but the tournament is scheduled to take place from October 3 to 20, with matches held in Dhaka and Sylhet.
BCB’s chief executive officer remains optimistic about the preparations, emphasizing that they are working towards hosting a successful tournament.
Both BCB officials and government representatives have expressed confidence in the country’s ability to organize the event effectively.
Despite past challenges, such as political turmoil and COVID-19, the BCB is determined to ensure a smooth tournament for all participating teams.
