Recent reports reveal that Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, HUR, coordinated sabotage operations which resulted in the destruction of three Russian helicopters. The attacks targeted key helicopter development and military airfield locations in Russia, causing significant damage.
Despite attempts by Russian authorities to conceal the details, Ukraine’s involvement in these sabotage operations is clear. From attacking helicopter construction sites to sabotaging airfields and railway lines, Ukrainian intelligence and partisan groups are actively targeting Russian infrastructure.
Recent incidents include the destruction of Mi-28 and Mi-8 helicopters, as well as successful attacks on Russian airfields using drones. These actions have significantly impacted Russia’s military capabilities, with over 300 helicopters lost since the start of the invasion.
