Argos Georgia Tragedy: Search for Missing Mariners Resumes

Rescue mission underway for missing mariners from the Argos Georgia tragedy

After the devastating incident involving the Argos Georgia vessel, search and recovery operations continue in the Falkland Islands. The Falklands Maritime Authority reported the arrival of two fishing vessels, Falklands Robin M Lee and Chilean Puerto Toro, who were part of the rescue operation. The surviving crew member is receiving medical attention in Stanley.

The bodies of the deceased crew members have been brought ashore and are under the care of the Coroner. Aerial and maritime search efforts are ongoing with the support of vessels in the area. The community and government are providing support to all those affected by this tragedy.
