The transatlantic NATO alliance recently addressed the discovery of Russian drone debris in Romania, stating that while there was no evidence of an intentional attack on NATO territory, the actions were deemed “irresponsible and potentially dangerous.” NATO has heightened its presence in the Black Sea region following the incident. The fragments of the Russian Geran 1/2 drone found near the Danube River and Ukraine border. The Romanian defense ministry confirmed the discovery and there has been no official response from Russian authorities as of yet.
