The Cultural Counselor in Cairo, Dr. Abdullah Harahsheh, has urged Jordanian students in Egypt to obtain a smart residency card to benefit from government services. Students are advised to visit the Egyptian Administration of Passports, Emigration, and Nationality to complete the procedure.
Dr. Harahsheh explained that this initiative is in line with the Egyptian Ministry of Interior’s instructions to ensure all expatriate residents in Egypt have access to essential services, as per the decision of the Egyptian Prime Minister. Failure to obtain a residency card may result in suspended transactions and services for foreigners exempted from residency permits after the deadline on 30/9/2024.
It is crucial for Jordanian students in Egypt to adhere to this requirement to facilitate their stay and access to necessary services. Stay updated with national content by following Jordan News.
