In a recent statement by Yemen’s Civil Defense Authority, details of the explosion at an oil facility tank in Hodeida province were revealed. The explosion, caused by a fire resulting from Israeli aggression, led to the tank’s explosion with no casualties reported.

Civil defense teams and supporting agencies were successful in controlling the fire, which was still 10% active, preventing any further damage. Efforts are ongoing to prevent a recurrence of such incidents in the future.

Prior to this incident, the authority had also managed to contain a large fire in the oil facilities and power stations in the province following attacks by the Zionist enemy. Both incidents highlight the ongoing challenges faced by the region.

Despite the adversity, the swift response and coordination among emergency teams have been commendable, ensuring the safety of the people and the protection of vital infrastructure.
