Forces eliminate close ally of Gul Bahadur: ISPR

Security forces have successfully eliminated a close associate of terrorist commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur in an operation in North Waziristan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) conducted an intelligence-based operation following reports of terrorist presence in the area, resulting in the death of the terrorist known as Razzaq.

Razzaq was identified as the alleged facilitator of a suicide attack in May, where seven security personnel lost their lives. This operation is part of ongoing efforts to eradicate terrorism in the region, with a focus on individuals linked to Hafiz Gul Bahadur’s group.

The ISPR also mentioned Razzaq’s involvement in the targeted killing of Malik Sher Muhammad, emphasizing the significance of eliminating such threats. This development comes in the wake of Pakistan holding Hafiz Gul Bahadur responsible for a recent attack on a military cantonment.

Hafiz Gul Bahadur, once a government contractor, has transformed into a prominent militant leader in North Waziristan. The security forces continue their operations to ensure the area is free from any terrorist activities.
