Deputy CM D K Shivakumar has come forward to defend Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA scam, stating that the Congress will respond strongly to the opposition’s allegations. Shivakumar assured the press that he has all the information about the issue at his fingertips.
Challenging the BJP and JD(S) leaders, Shivakumar announced plans to expose scams involving them and invited them to a public debate on the charges against the CM and government. He emphasized that the Congress will not organize a ‘march’ but will release details of opposition scams instead.
Additionally, Shivakumar revealed the upcoming elections for officebearers in the Youth Congress, with nominations starting on August 2 and membership drives for individuals under 35 from August 16 to September 16. The dates for the elections will be announced later.
