Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur inaugurated the first phase of the Police Line building in district Mardan, with a total cost of Rs. 395 million.
The event was attended by Provincial Minister Zahir Shah Toru, MNA Ali Muhammad Khan, IGP Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur, Commissioner Mardan Muhammad Ayaz, along with other officials and local representatives.
In his speech, CM Gandapur praised the sacrifices and dedication of the police force in maintaining peace in the region despite facing numerous challenges. He emphasized the government’s commitment to prioritizing law and order, and highlighted ongoing efforts to modernize and strengthen the police department.
Furthermore, he announced a Rs1 billion fund for each provincial constituency to support urgent development projects tailored to meet local needs. He also pledged immediate funds for the completion of projects in DHQ and Children’s Hospital in Mardan.
CM Gandapur assured that decisions made in the provincial apex committee meeting will be diligently implemented and highlighted the government’s focus on a tax-free budget to benefit the common people.
