The Baloch government statement emphasized the importance of maintaining law and order, offering dialogue with BYC. Allegations of security forces firing in Mastung were accompanied by videos showing buses attacked en route to Gwadar.
Hospital CEO Dr Saeed Ahmed confirmed 14 injuries in Mastung, with protesters blocking Quetta’s Sariab Road in response. BYC members vowed to continue their protest, calling for international attention to the situation.
Senior journalist Hamid Mir questioned PPP leadership over the incident, while British MP John McDonnell condemned the reported attack, urging pressure on the Pakistani government to stop human rights abuses in Balochistan.
