Israeli Bombing on Field Hospital in Deir al-Balah Kills Dozens of Palestinians
Tragedy struck in Gaza as at least 30 Palestinians lost their lives and over 100 others were injured due to Israeli bombing on a field hospital in Deir al-Balah. The hospital was situated within the Khadija School compound and was targeted by the Israeli army with three missiles from fighter jets.
Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) claimed the strike targeted “terrorists” operating in a Hamas command center inside the school compound. Despite IDF’s claims of taking precautions to avoid civilian casualties, Gaza-based health officials reported a significant number of civilian deaths and injuries in Khan Younis due to Israeli attacks.
The escalating violence in Gaza has led to a rising death toll, with health authorities reporting 39,258 Palestinian fatalities since the conflict began. The situation remains dire as medical teams struggle to cope with the influx of casualties and a severe shortage of medical supplies.
