Former President Moon Jae-in criticized the government and ruling party on the 27th, questioning why they were so divisive and confrontational.
Moon, during a meeting at the Pyeongsan Village Presidential Residence in Gyeongsangnam-do with Park Chan-dae, acting leader and floor leader of the Democratic Party, said, “There are many unheard-of things happening these days.”
Moon emphasized the need for a national reorganization by the government and ruling party, and expressed regret that they were not doing so after learning the lesson through the general elections.
Park, in response, stated that they would faithfully implement the people’s overwhelming majority support for reform as the first opposition party to receive such support in constitutional history.
Moon also signed copies of his book ‘From the Periphery to the Center’ to give to Park and others, sending his regards to supporters in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam.
