A stolen Toyota Fortuner bound for Zimbabwe for smuggling was found in Limpopo after a tip-off led the provincial flying squad to intercept the vehicle. The car, stolen in Sinoville, Gauteng, was recovered on Ndzedzedze Road in Thohoyandou. Upon confrontation, the suspects fled, sparking a chase and shoot-out before escaping on foot. The vehicle was seized as part of the investigation to locate the suspects.
