The Minority Whip of the House of Representatives, Isa Ali, revealed that members receive N400 million for constituency projects through Zonal Intervention Projects and Special Intervention Projects. During a town hall meeting, Ali disclosed the breakdown of allocations, with N179 million for ZIPs, N40 million for SIPs, and N200 million for his constituency. He emphasized the importance of these projects in developing constituencies and districts, as they often lack Federal Government projects.
Ali commended the Federal Government for releasing funds for projects and assured constituents of project quality despite economic challenges. He stated that efforts were being made for 100% implementation and revealed the formation of a committee to oversee project quality. As a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ali stressed the transparency in project allocations and implementations, highlighting the commitment to serving the people.
It is evident that the funds allocated for constituency projects play a vital role in community development, and Ali’s dedication to ensuring effective implementation reflects a commitment to serving the people.
