Despite most INDIA bloc chief ministers choosing to skip the NITI Aayog meeting, Banerjee emphasized the importance of unity among state leaders on crucial issues.
She criticized the BJP government for its biased budget allocation and lack of consideration for opposition states.
Banerjee advocated for the abolishment of NITI Aayog, citing its ineffectiveness compared to the previously existing Planning Commission.
She highlighted the Planning Commission’s historical significance and effective governance in addressing state concerns.
Banerjee urged the government to revert to the Planning Commission model for better governance and representation of state interests.
