Alleged 28s gang boss Ralph Stanfield’s brother, Kyle Stanfield, and his co-accused appeared in court recently, facing charges under the Prevention of Organised Crime Act. The court heard that they are facing financial difficulties as a result of the case.
Kyle was arrested after police found him in Claremont with a letter from Ralph, asking about deleted video footage of his arrest. He was charged with defeating the ends of justice and possession of presumed stolen property. Police seized cash and high-end watches.
Stanfield, along with Barbara Johnson, Suraya Manual, and Phakamisa Nondabula, are currently out on bail. Their attorney, Bruce Hendricks, explained that the case has impacted their businesses and led to financial struggles, making it difficult for them to find employment.
