According to a report by Forbes Adviser, Karachi ranks just behind Caracas, Venezuela, which holds a score of 100, making it the riskiest city for tourists. The third spot is taken by Yangon, Myanmar, with a score of 91.67.
The ranking highlighted Karachi’s high personal security risk due to factors like crime, violence, terrorist threats, natural disasters, and economic vulnerabilities. The city also received a level 3 travel safety rating from the US State Department and has the fourth-highest infrastructure security risk among the listed cities.
