Iran Slams Israel’s False Accusations Ahead of Paris Olympics
Iran’s Foreign Ministry has vehemently denied Israel’s baseless claims of plotting to target regime participants and settlers during the Paris Olympic Games. In response to Israel’s accusations, Spokesman Nasser Kan’ani called it “hatemongering” by the “child-killing” regime to deflect attention from the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
With over 39,000 Palestinians killed and 90,000 injured in the brutal military campaign in Gaza, Kan’ani highlighted Israel’s desperate attempt to avoid accountability for its war crimes. He emphasized the contradiction between Israel’s accusations and the Olympic charter promoting peace and friendship, exposing the regime’s disregard for international norms.
Considering Israel’s history of tyranny and violence, Kan’ani dismissed the accusations as absurd and wished the French government success in hosting a safe and successful Olympic event.
