Africa’s leading manufacturer of smartcard and high-security identity solutions, SecureID Limited, has been awarded the Certificate of Rules of Origin from the National Action Committee on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Agreement. The recognition was received during Nigeria’s inaugural shipment under the Guided Trade Initiative (GTI) framework in Lagos.
SecureID’s selection for the certificate highlights the company’s dedication to excellence and innovation. As the first smartcard manufacturing company in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa, SecureID has led the industry in transitioning to chip-based technology in payment cards.
