The Dutch Ambassador to Ankara, Joep Wijnands, has expressed that the best way to celebrate the centenary of relations between the Netherlands and Turkey is through music. He mentioned that the Turkish-Dutch singer, Karsu, symbolizes the special bond between the two countries and serves as an ambassador for both nations. Wijnands invited everyone to attend Karsu’s free concert at the Ataturk Orman Ciftligi in Ankara.
Highlighting the long-standing diplomatic ties between Amsterdam and Ankara, Wijnands emphasized the strong partnership and friendship between the Netherlands and Turkey. He also mentioned various collaborative efforts in fields such as investment, community engagement, and environmental initiatives.
As part of the centenary celebrations, multiple events have been organized across Turkey, including activities for children and support for earthquake-affected regions.
