Celic Municipality Debuts First Fire Station

The Municipality of Čelić celebrates the opening of its first fire station today, marking a significant step in enhancing the security infrastructure of the area. With the presence of citizens, local authorities, and international organizations, the new building was officially inaugurated, making Čelić a safer place to live.

The Mayor of Čelić expressed gratitude to donors and partners for their support in making the fire station a reality. The facility, funded by the European Union, the Municipality of Čelić, and the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, symbolizes collective efforts to improve living conditions and strengthen trust within communities.

The fire station, located in MZ Brnjik, covers 240 square meters and represents an investment of 310,000 BAM. The importance of the project was acknowledged by Ambassador Brian Aggeler and Aurelie Valtat, highlighting the region’s resilience and cooperation.

Joint cooperation among municipalities like Čelić, Lopare, Teočak, Ugljevik, and Sapna has led to mutual support and investments in infrastructure. The fire station in Čelić not only enhances emergency response capacity but also fosters collaboration in the wider Majevica area.
