Despite passing five audits over the years, the CRA based its decision on a 2014 audit, which the JNF deems unjust.
The 1967 charter of the organization aimed to provide employment for indigent laborers in Israel, but the CRA deemed it unacceptable. JNF leaders suspect anti-Zionist or antisemitic motives within the CRA influenced the decision. They believe that bias played a role in the revocation of their charitable status.
